Reporting Guidelines & Registration
Clear reporting helps readers judge and reproduce research. Authors should follow the reporting guideline that fits their study design.
| Study design | Guideline |
|---|---|
| Systematic reviews | PRISMA 2020, with a flow diagram and checklist |
| Qualitative studies | COREQ or SRQR |
| Surveys and quantitative studies | STROBE or equivalent |
| Mixed methods | Report each strand using the relevant guideline |
Guidelines are available from the EQUATOR Network. Registered study protocols, where they exist, should be cited in the Methods section.
