Submissions from Editors
Members of the editorial team may submit their own work to INOTEKS, but it receives no special treatment.
- The manuscript goes through the same double-anonymous peer review as any other submission.
- It is handled by an editor with no conflict of interest, and the author-editor has no access to the review process or the decision.
- If the Editor-in-Chief is an author, another senior editor makes the final decision.
- To avoid the appearance of bias, the journal limits the number of articles by its own editors in any single issue.
- The published article states that the author is a member of the editorial team and that the manuscript was handled independently.
