Appointment, Term & Removal
Editorial team members are appointed for their expertise and commitment to ethical publishing.
- The Editor-in-Chief is appointed by the publisher for a renewable term of four years.
- Other editors are appointed by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the publisher, for renewable terms of four years.
- Every member must agree to serve, be a recognised scholar in a field covered by the journal, and declare competing interests annually.
- The composition of the team is reviewed each year for relevance to the journal's aims and scope, and the Editorial Team page is kept up to date.
- A member may be removed for prolonged inactivity, a breach of the journal's ethics policies, or conduct that damages the journal's integrity. The decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief (or, for the Editor-in-Chief, by the publisher) after the member has been heard.
