Authors must obtain permission to reproduce material owned by others, such as figures, tables, photographs, maps, or long quotations.

• Obtain written permission from the copyright holder for reuse in an open-access article under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, and include the credit line requested.
• Material already under a compatible open licence may be used with proper attribution.
• Images of identifiable people require their consent (see Ethical Clearance Statement).
• Manuscripts with unresolved permissions cannot be published.
