Publication Ethics
The ethics section of this publication contains information and ethics statements for each section related to the publication of the journal Efisiensi : Kajian Ilmu Administrasi. This journal is published by the Department of Administration Education, Faculty of Economics, Yogyakarta State University. This Statement is adapted from the principles of Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) and includes a code of conduct for editor-in-chiefs, editorial board members, reviewers and authors.
Job description of the Chief Editor:
- Assess submitted manuscript reasonably based on competencies of the author.
- Assure the confidentiality of the manuscript and do not disclose information regarding the contents of the manuscript to anyone other than people involved in the publishing process.
- Responsible to determine when and which articles to publish.
- Actively attempt the views of board members, reviewers and writers on how to improve the image and visibility of the journal.
- Provide instructions to potential contributors on the submission process and what to expect from the author.
- Assure appropriate reviewers are selected / identified for the manuscript review process
Job description of the Chief Editor Board:
- Actively contributes to journal development.
- Be a journal ambassador to keep supporting and upgrading the journal.
- Doing assigned work.
Job description of Reviewer:
- Examine the format style of journal manuscript writing guidelines carefully.
- Submit to the journal manager (chairman / editorial member) regarding the interests and scientific expertise before agreeing to be a reviewer of submissions.
- Analyze the title and abstract of the submission manuscript before agreeing to review the submission.
- Own the right to refuse to review submitted manuscripts because of conflicts of interest or insufficient knowledge.
- It is obligatory to review all texts in the manuscript objectively, fairly and professionally.
- Obliged to disclose or submit in writing all errors encountered while reviewing the Chief Editor for further action.
- Must ensure the authenticity of the manuscript and be aware of any plagiarism and excessive publication
- It is not allowed to discuss the content of the post without permission.
- Comply with the time limit allocated for the review process.
- If it takes an extension time to review the manuscript because it requires more accuracy, it must be given permission and it becomes the policy of the Chief Editor.
- Send the manuscript of the review results according to the predetermined online procedure.
Job description Author :
- Must send new manuscripts that have never been published in other journals.
- Manuscripts that are sent are the work / research by themselves or by groups.
- Reproduction, modification, or take part of works that have previously been published in other journals are not permitted.
- It is not allowed to simultaneously submit manuscripts that are being reviewed or considered by other journals.
- Permitted to publish manuscripts or send other journals after receiving an official refusal after accepting official letter requesting to withdraw the work and is permitted by the editor in chief.
- Make clarify the Chief Editor or publisher of any inaccuracies in the data in their published work so that the correction or repeal of the article can be made.
- Make a significant contribution and be responsible for any deficiencies in their work.
