What the journal publishes

Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan (JPTK) publishes original work on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) that has not been published before in any form. See Focus & Scope.

Research paper	Original empirical research in TVET, with a clear method and findings.
Review paper	A critical, structured review of research on a topic in TVET.
Literature review	A synthesis of the literature on a question in TVET, which shows the state of knowledge and the gaps.

Requirements for all manuscripts

Language	Standard English
Template	The official article template
Title	No more than 15 words
Abstract	150–250 words in one paragraph: the problem, the approach, and the main findings and conclusions
Keywords	Specific words or phrases that represent the article
Structure	Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, References
Length	Up to 20 pages. Extra pages are charged. See Journal Business Model
References	At least 20 relevant and current sources, most of them from reputable international journals of the last five years, with URLs where available
File	MS Word (.doc) or RTF, uploaded through the website
Peer review	Single-blind. See Peer Review Process

Not accepted

• Work outside TVET.
• Work that has been published before, or that is under review elsewhere.
• Manuscripts that do not follow the template and the Author Guidelines. These are not processed further.
