Focus

Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan (JPTK) publishes original research and reviews on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). It serves researchers, educators, trainers, and policy makers who work on the preparation of people for work.

Scope

1. Teaching and Learning in TVET	Learning theories and strategies, curriculum development, learning media, teaching methods, character education, industrial internships, work-based learning, e-learning, technology-based entrepreneurship, school-based enterprises, and the behaviour of vocational students.
2. Evaluation, Assessment, and Certification in TVET	Qualifications frameworks, competency-based education and training, recognition of prior learning, authentic assessment, and competency assessment based on industry standards.
3. Human Resources Management in TVET	Vocational career development, professional development of teachers and trainers, leadership, recruitment of teacher leaders, vocational teacher certification, and roles on the boards of professional associations.
4. Vocational Resources in TVET	Laboratory and workshop facilities, vocational budgeting, infrastructure for vocational education, applied technology, economic development, virtual laboratories, digital libraries, and augmented and virtual learning facilities.
5. Policy and Contemporary Issues in TVET	TVET policy, social issues and their impact, education for sustainable development, public-private partnerships, the global village, IT-based communities, and educational justice.

Out of scope

Manuscripts that do not concern technical and vocational education and training are outside the scope of the journal. Read the Types of Manuscript and the Author Guidelines before you submit.
