Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors may deposit:

  • the submitted version,
  • the accepted manuscript, and
  • the published version (Version of Record)

in institutional or subject repositories immediately upon publication, provided that proper citation to the journal is included.

No embargo period is applied.

 

Archiving and Long-Term Preservation

The journal ensures long-term digital preservation of published articles through journal hosting systems and repository archiving to guarantee continued accessibility of scholarly content.

Ethnomathematics Journal ensures long-term digital preservation of its published content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides free preservation services for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). This system creates distributed archival copies to guarantee continued accessibility of journal content in the event that the journal website becomes unavailable.

The journal also participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archival system, ensuring permanent preservation and restoration of journal content.

In addition, journal content is maintained on the institutional server of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta as part of institutional digital preservation practices.
