DIMENSIA: Jurnal Kajian Sosiologi welcomes scholarly manuscripts in the fields of Sociology and Sociology Education. All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's Online Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Authors are encouraged to carefully review the submission requirements before submitting their manuscripts.

Before You Submit

Authors should ensure that their manuscripts meet the following requirements before starting the submission process.

✓ Relevance and Originality

The manuscript must align with the journal's Focus and Scope, be original and unpublished, and not be under consideration by another journal.

✓ Manuscript Template

Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the official DIMENSIA manuscript template and Author Guidelines.

✓ Manuscript Length and Language

Manuscripts should contain approximately 4,000–6,000 words and may be written in Indonesian or English.

✓ Abstract and Keywords

Each manuscript should include an abstract of approximately 150 words in Indonesian and English, accompanied by 3–5 relevant keywords.

✓ References and Citations

Citations and references must follow APA 7th edition. Authors should follow the journal's requirements regarding the number and recency of references.

✓ Publication Ethics

Authors must comply with the journal's publication ethics, authorship requirements, and applicable research ethics standards.

Online Submission Procedure

Follow these steps to submit your manuscript through the DIMENSIA OJS platform.

Register or Log In

Create an author account or log in using your existing OJS username and password. Complete the required author profile information.

Start a New Submission

Access your author dashboard and select the option to start a new submission. Follow the submission instructions and confirm that your manuscript meets the journal's requirements.

Upload Your Manuscript

Upload the manuscript file in an accepted document format. Ensure that the file follows the journal's template and any applicable review anonymity requirements.

Enter Manuscript Metadata

Enter the manuscript title, abstract, keywords, author names, affiliations, and other information requested by the submission system. Verify the accuracy of all metadata.

Review and Confirm Submission

Review all uploaded files and submission information. Complete the submission confirmation process to ensure that your manuscript has been successfully submitted.

Monitor Your Submission

Authors can monitor manuscript status, receive editorial correspondence, and submit revisions through their OJS account when requested by the editorial team.

All manuscripts are subject to editorial screening and peer review in accordance with DIMENSIA's editorial policies. Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Manuscripts that do not comply with the Author Guidelines may be returned for correction before further editorial consideration.
