Journal History

Dimensia: Jurnal Kajian Sosiologi is a journal managed by FISIP UNY Sociology Education. This journal publishes research results in the field of sociological education and sociological science. This journal was published in 2007 starting with Volume 1 No. 1 to Volume 6 No. 1 in 2012. Between 2013 and 2017 we did not publish the journal and we started again in 2018 with Volume 7 No. 1. Starting from Volume 12 Issue 1 in 2023, Dimensia will make changes to the article layout/template and change the number of articles per edition from 5 to 10 articles; and published in 2 editions per volume in March and September every year.

Dimensia changes again its publication frequency into 3 times in a year per Volume 14 Edition 1 Year 2025.
