Publication Ethics

Dimensia: Jurnal Kajian Sosiologi is an open-access and peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Sociology Education, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The journal aims to publish original research and review articles that advance theoretical understanding and promote empirical research in the fields of Sociology and Sociology Education. The scope of the journal covers a wide range of sociological and sociology education studies, including sociological theories, education, religion, development, culture, tourism, media and popular culture studies, as well as curriculum, learning strategies, instructional media, evaluation methods, and other studies related to sociology learning.

The journal welcomes submissions employing qualitative and quantitative research methods, conceptual and theoretical discussions, and methodological innovations related to sociology and sociology education. Dimensia: Jurnal Kajian Sosiologi is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and ensuring that advertising, reprint, or other commercial revenue has no influence on editorial decisions.
