Focus and Scope

Dimensia: Jurnal Kajian Sosiologi is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research and review articles in the fields of Sociology and Sociology Education. The journal aims to advance theoretical understanding and promote empirical research on a wide range of sociological and educational issues at local, national, and international levels. The scope of the journal includes Sociology Theory, Sociology of Education, Sociology of Religion, Sociology of Development, Sociology of Tourism, Sociology of Culture, Media and Popular Culture Studies, as well as Sociology Education studies such as curriculum development, learning planning, teaching strategies and methods, learning materials, evaluation methods, and instructional media in sociology learning. The journal welcomes submissions employing qualitative and quantitative research methods, conceptual and theoretical discussions, and methodological innovations related to sociology and sociology education.
