About the Journal

Dimensia: Kajian Sosiologi dan Pendidikan is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Sociology Education, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is identified by the online ISSN 2654-9344 and the print ISSN 1978-192X, and appears three times a year. Every article has a DOI with the prefix 10.21831, registered with Crossref.

The journal publishes theoretical and empirical studies in sociology and sociology education, in local, national, and international contexts, at the secondary and higher education levels. It accepts original research and review articles that use qualitative or quantitative methods, and it welcomes conceptual, theoretical, and methodological work.

All articles are free to read, download, and share from the moment of publication, without charge to readers. The journal commits to making research freely available to the public, to support a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Authors keep the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
