— Submit through the submission guide.
04Articles in press (early publication)▾
From Volume 24 (2027), accepted articles may be published online as Articles in Press before their issue is complete, so that research becomes available sooner. Early publication never replaces the regular schedule: every issue is still completed and closed on time, in March, July, and November.
| Eligible | Only articles that have passed peer review, been accepted, copyedited, and typeset, and whose author has approved the final proof |
| Version | The final version of record, with full metadata, page layout, and the published declarations; no further changes except through a formal correction |
| Identifier | A Crossref DOI is registered at early publication and stays the same when the article is placed in an issue |
| Dates | Received, revised, accepted, and published-online dates are shown on the article |
| Assignment to an issue | Articles in Press are assigned to the next issue in order of acceptance; volume, issue, and page numbers are added then |
| Issue size | Each issue still contains at least 5 and at most 15 articles, so assigning articles in press never leaves an issue short |
| Citation | Cite as: Author(s). (Year). Title. Jurnal Civics: Media Kajian Kewarganegaraan. Advance online publication. https://doi.org/10.21831/… |
— Articles in Press are listed on the journal website until the issue is published.
— Withdrawal or retraction of an Article in Press follows the Correction, Retraction and Withdrawal policy; the DOI and a notice remain.
— Up to Volume 23 (2026), articles were published only as part of a complete issue.
