Conflict of Interest Policy

Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Pendidikan (JPIP) is committed to maintaining transparency, objectivity, fairness, and integrity throughout the scholarly publication process.

1. Definition of Conflict of Interest

A conflict of interest may arise when financial, personal, professional, or institutional relationships could influence, or be perceived to influence, the research findings, manuscript evaluation, or editorial decisions.

2. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect the interpretation or presentation of their research. Relevant financial support and institutional relationships should be transparently acknowledged.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must disclose any competing interests before accepting a review assignment. Reviewers should decline assignments when personal, professional, or financial relationships may compromise their objectivity.

4. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly, objectively, and based on their scholarly merit. Any potential conflict that could compromise editorial independence should be disclosed and appropriately managed.

5. Disclosure and Transparency

JPIP encourages all parties involved in publication to disclose potential conflicts of interest to maintain the credibility and integrity of published research.

This policy should be read in conjunction with the journal's Publication Ethics and Peer Review Process policies.
