Archiving Policy
Jurnal Penelitian Ilmu Pendidikan (JPIP) is committed to supporting the long-term accessibility, preservation, and discoverability of its published scholarly articles.
1. Digital Archiving
JPIP maintains an online archive of its published issues and articles through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform hosted by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
Previously published articles can be accessed through the journal's Archives page:
https://journal.uny.ac.id/index.php/jpip/issue/archive
2. Digital Object Identifiers (DOI)
JPIP uses Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to support the identification, citation, and discoverability of published scholarly works.
DOIs provide persistent identifiers that can help readers locate publications even when website addresses change, provided that DOI metadata and destination links are maintained.
3. Metadata Accessibility
JPIP provides publication metadata through its journal management system, supporting the discovery and indexing of scholarly articles.
The journal provides an OAI-PMH interface for metadata harvesting by compatible indexing and repository services.
4. Long-Term Preservation
JPIP recognizes the importance of preserving published scholarly content against technological changes, data loss, and potential interruptions to online access.
The editorial team and publisher are committed to reviewing appropriate digital preservation arrangements to support continued access to published articles.
5. Publisher Responsibility
JPIP is published by the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The publisher and journal management share responsibility for maintaining the accessibility and integrity of the journal's scholarly content.
