Development of Website-Based Learning Media as Biology Learning Media on Environmental Change Material for Class X
This study aims to develop a website-based biology learning medium on environmental change for 10th grade high school students and to determine its feasibility, practicality, and implementation in learning. This study is a research and development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The learning medium was developed using Google Sites and Canva platforms. The research subjects included subject matter experts, media experts, biology teachers, and students of SMA Negeri 10 Konawe Selatan. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, questionnaires, and observations, while data analysis was performed descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively. The results showed that the website-based learning media was deemed feasible for use based on the assessment of subject matter experts, who gave it a rating of “very good,” and media experts, who gave it a rating of “good.” The practicality assessment by teachers and students showed a good category, and the learning implementation results showed excellent implementation. This website-based learning media can support interactive, flexible, and easily accessible learning. Thus, website-based biology learning media on environmental change material is feasible and practical to use as an alternative learning media in high schools in the digital era.
