Management. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for editorial policy, manuscript handling, peer review, and editorial decisions. The journal runs on Open Journal Systems (OJS), hosted by UNY.

Roles of the publisher and partners. The Faculty provides institutional, administrative, and financial support. IPTPI and APS-TPI (support the journal by promoting it, encouraging submissions, and recommending reviewers and editorial board members). Neither the publisher nor the partners take part in decisions on individual manuscripts.

Editorial independence. Decisions to accept, revise, or reject a manuscript are based only on scientific quality, originality, methodological soundness, relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with publication ethics. They are not influenced by commercial, institutional, or personal interests. Manuscripts from authors affiliated with the publisher, the partners, or the editorial team receive the same review as all others and are handled by an independent editor, as described in our Conflict of Interest policy.

Funding. JITP is supported by the Faculty of Education, UNY. Article processing charges are described on the Author Fee(s) page. Payment does not influence editorial decisions. The journal carries no advertising or sponsored content. If this changes, a separate policy will be published and editorial independence will be maintained.

Changes. Any significant change to the journal’s title, ownership, publisher, or identifiers will be announced on the journal website and reported to the relevant ISSN, indexing, and registration services.

Complaints. Complaints about the journal’s management, processes, or staff can be sent to the Editor-in-Chief through the editorial office (teknodik@uny.ac.id). A complaint about the Editor-in-Chief is handled by a senior member of the editorial board / the Head of the Department of Educational Technology, as the publisher’s representative.
