Jurnal Civics: Media Kajian Kewarganegaraan publishes content in three sections. Each section has its own scope, length, and review procedure.

Articles

Original empirical research (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods) on citizenship studies and civic education. Manuscripts of 5,000–8,000 words must include a Theoretical/Conceptual framework and follow the Original Research Article templates. All articles undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two reviewers.
Systematic Literature Reviews

Reviews that synthesise research on a clearly defined question using a transparent, replicable method reported in line with PRISMA 2020. Manuscripts of 5,000–8,000 words must follow the Systematic Literature Review templates and include a PRISMA flow diagram and checklist. All reviews undergo double-anonymous peer review by at least two reviewers.
Book Reviews

Critical reviews (1,000–1,500 words) of scholarly books published within the last three years that are relevant to citizenship, civic education, democracy, or related fields. Authors should contact the Book Review Editor before writing. Book reviews are assessed by the editors and are not subject to double-anonymous peer review.
