Author-Fees

Jurnal Penelitian Saintek (JPS) is an open-access journal: every article is free for anyone to read, download, and reuse under its licence. The journal covers part of the cost of publishing from a charge paid by authors of accepted articles. Submitting a manuscript costs nothing.

☰ What You Should Know

  • No charge before acceptance. Nothing is payable at submission or during peer review.
  • The charge is paid only after acceptance. The editorial office sends payment instructions together with the acceptance notice, and the article is published once payment is confirmed.
  • The charge does not influence the decision. Editors and reviewers assess a manuscript on its scientific merit alone, and do not know whether, or whether not, an author will pay. A rejected manuscript costs nothing.
  • Charges are in Indonesian rupiah (IDR).

◈ Production
Copy-editing support, typesetting, and the preparation of the article in PDF and HTML.
 ◉ Identification
A DOI for the article, registered with Crossref, and metadata submitted for indexing.
▤ Hosting
Permanent open access on this website, with no paywall and no registration to read.
 ⌂ Preservation
Archiving in CLOCKSS and the PKP Preservation Network. See Archiving.

↻ Procedure

  1. Submit your manuscript. No payment is required.
  2. The manuscript is reviewed, as described in the Peer Review Process.
  3. If it is accepted, the editorial office sends the acceptance notice with payment instructions.
  4. Pay the Article Publication Charge and send the proof of payment to the editorial office.
  5. The article goes into production and is published in the next issue.
