Post Publication Policy

Policy

Diklus: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah welcomes scholarly discussion of its published articles. Constructive criticism, questions, and corrections help the scholarly community. The journal follows the COPE guidance on post-publication discussions and corrections.

Ways to take part

  • Comment to the editors. Write to the editorial office through the Contact page with the article and your comments.
  • Letter to the editor or commentary. A short, argued response to an article, which the editors may send to the authors and review. If accepted, it is published with a reply from the authors, if they wish to give one.
  • Report an error or a concern. Errors are handled under Correction, Retraction and Withdrawal, and ethical concerns under Research Misconduct.

Standards

  • Be specific, civil, and based on evidence. Criticise the work, not the authors.
  • Give your name, your affiliation, and any competing interest. See Conflict of Interest.
  • Do not make unsupported claims of misconduct.

What the journal does

  • The editors read every comment and decide on the right action: a reply, a notice, an investigation, or no action.
  • The authors are given the chance to respond.
  • Where an error is found, a correction or a retraction is published.

Authors

Authors are expected to take part in good faith, to share data when it is asked for and when it is possible (see Research Data and Reproducibility), and to correct their own errors.
