Plagiarism Policy

Diklus: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah is committed to upholding academic integrity, originality, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original and free from plagiarism. Authors are required to appropriately acknowledge all sources, including ideas, research findings, data, and previously published works, through accurate citations and references. Authors bear full responsibility for ensuring the originality and integrity of their manuscripts.

All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening using similarity detection software, such as Turnitin, during the initial editorial assessment and, when necessary, before publication. A similarity index of 20% or lower is recommended as the maximum acceptable threshold, subject to the journal's editorial policy. Nevertheless, similarity scores are not the sole basis for determining plagiarism. The editorial team evaluates the extent, sources, and context of identified similarities before making editorial decisions.

Editorial Action on Plagiarism

If potential plagiarism is detected by editors, reviewers, or editorial staff at any stage of the publication process, including manuscript submission, peer review, copyediting, or proofreading, the editorial team will investigate the issue in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policy.

For minor instances, such as insufficient paraphrasing, inaccurate citations, or improper acknowledgment of sources, authors may be required to revise their manuscripts and provide appropriate references. In cases of substantial plagiarism or serious violations of academic integrity, the manuscript may be rejected.

If plagiarism is identified after publication, Diklus: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah may take appropriate corrective measures, including publishing a correction notice or retracting the article, depending on the severity of the violation. Where necessary, the journal may also notify the authors' affiliated institutions.

Authors are encouraged to conduct plagiarism checks before submitting their manuscripts. However, the use of similarity detection software does not eliminate the authors' responsibility to ensure the originality and ethical integrity of their scholarly work.

Plagiarism Declaration

By submitting a manuscript to Diklus: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah, authors declare that their work is original, has not been plagiarized, and appropriately acknowledges all sources used in the research and manuscript preparation.

Authors may be required to provide a signed statement of originality or plagiarism-free declaration as a supplementary document through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS), in accordance with the journal's submission requirements.
