Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta provides institutional support for the journal. The Editor-in-Chief oversees editorial policies, publication quality, and editorial decisions, supported by the editorial team and editorial board. Their names, affiliations, and responsibilities are available on the journal’s Editorial Team page.

3. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are based on scholarly quality, relevance to the journal’s scope, research integrity, and peer-review outcomes. The publisher, institutional interests, and financial considerations must not influence decisions on individual manuscripts.

Submissions from authors affiliated with the publisher or the editorial team are subject to the same editorial standards and peer-review procedures as other submissions. Conflicts of interest are managed in accordance with the journal’s Conflict of Interest Policy.

4. Financial and Operational Management

Any applicable publication fees are communicated transparently on the journal website. Payment does not determine acceptance or influence editorial decisions.

The journal manages submissions and peer review through its online journal system. The editorial team is responsible for maintaining confidentiality, publication quality, and compliance with the journal’s policies.

5. Policy Review and Complaints

JEP reviews its policies periodically and updates them when necessary. Complaints concerning journal management or editorial processes may be submitted to the editorial team through the journal website. Complaints involving the Editor-in-Chief should be referred to the publisher or an appropriate independent representative.

This policy should be read alongside the journal’s Editorial Policies, Peer Review Policy, Publication Ethics, Conflict of Interest Policy, Research Misconduct Policy, Author Fees, and other relevant policies.
