About the Journal

Jurnal Ekonomi dan Pendidikan (JEP) is a national, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Economics Education Professionals (ASPROPENDO), since 2022.

JEP provides a scholarly platform for the dissemination of theoretical and empirical research that contributes to the development of economics, education, and economics education.

JEP has been accredited at Rank 5 (SINTA 5) by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of Indonesia under Decree No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025. According to the stated accreditation period, the accreditation applies from Volume 19, Issue 2 (2022) through Volume 24, Issue 1 (2027).

JEP welcomes theoretical and empirical manuscripts addressing the following areas:

Economic theory, policy, development, and related issues.

Educational research, learning, and educational policy.

03. Economics Education

Teaching and learning economics and related pedagogical practices.

04. Education Economics

Economic perspectives on education, educational investment, and outcomes.
