About the Journal

Journal of Economics and Education (JEP) is a national, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia. JEP publishes theoretical and empirical research that contributes to the development of economics, education, and their interdisciplinary fields.

Focus and Scope

JEP welcomes scholarly manuscripts in the following areas:

Research on economic theory, development, policy, markets, and economic issues at local, national, and international levels.

Education

Research on teaching and learning, curriculum, educational assessment, learning innovation, and education policy.

Economics Education

Research on economics teaching, instructional design, economic literacy, learning outcomes, and economics education in schools and higher education.

Economics of Education

Research on the economics of educational investment, education financing, returns to education, human capital, and the relationship between education and economic growth.

JEP welcomes original and relevant scholarly contributions that advance knowledge and practice in economics and education.
