Jurnal Pendidikan Anak (JPA) (p-ISSN: 2301-4334, e-ISSN: 2579-4531) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of Early Childhood Teacher Education (PGPAUD), Faculty of Education and Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in collaboration with the Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal PAUD Indonesia (PPJ PAUD).

Semiannual Publication (Twice a Year)

JPA is regularly published twice a year (biannually), specifically in:

  • Issue 1: Published in June (Period: January – June)
  • Issue 2: Published in December (Period: July – December)

Submission and Editorial Timeline

While manuscript submissions are welcomed all year round via the OJS online system, authors are encouraged to consider the regular processing schedule below to target a specific release:

Issue 1 (June Edition)

  • Recommended Submission: January – March
  • Review & Revision: March – May
  • Final Copyediting: Late May
  • Online Publication: End of June

Issue 2 (December Edition)

  • Recommended Submission: July – September
  • Review & Revision: September – November
  • Final Copyediting: Late November
  • Online Publication: End of December

Average Editorial Turnaround Time:

First Editorial Decision: 1 – 2 Weeks
Peer-Review Process: 4 – 8 Weeks
Time to Publication: 8 – 16 Weeks

Online-First & Continuity Policy

Accepted articles that have finalized copyediting, proofreading, and DOI registration will be assigned to the scheduled issue. JPA is firmly committed to maintaining publication punctuality to guarantee dependable indexing and citation services for our authors and readers.
