Jurnal Pendidikan Anak • Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (PoT 6 & 9)

Jurnal Pendidikan Anak (JPA) is an open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution. In accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition, users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, as long as appropriate attribution is given.

1. Immediate and Barrier-Free Access

No Embargo: All accepted articles are made immediately and permanently accessible online upon publication without any embargo period.
No Subscription Barrier: Readers do not need to register, subscribe, or pay any pay-per-view fees to read, download, and share published research articles.
Global Knowledge Dissemination: Immediate open access supports greater global knowledge exchange and accelerates citation impact for early childhood researchers and educators.

2. Licensing Terms (Creative Commons)

All articles published by Jurnal Pendidikan Anak are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license:

Share: You are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
Adapt: You are free to remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, under the terms of the license.
Attribution & ShareAlike: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, indicate if changes were made, and distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

3. Copyright Retention & Self-Archiving Rights

Authors retain the copyright of their published work without restrictions and grant the journal the right of first publication under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their paper (Submitted version, Accepted manuscript, and Version of Record/published PDF) in institutional or disciplinary repositories, personal websites, and academic networking profiles.
Deposited versions must acknowledge the initial publication in Jurnal Pendidikan Anak and include the assigned Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
