Digital Preservation and Archiving
Jurnal Pendidikan Vokasi is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content. The journal implements digital preservation strategies to safeguard its publications against accidental loss, technological obsolescence, or system failure.
Published articles are permanently archived and made openly accessible through the journal's website. In addition, metadata and full-text articles are disseminated through various indexing and abstracting services to enhance visibility and long-term accessibility.
The journal supports digital preservation through the following mechanisms:
- Permanent publication on the official journal website;
- DOI registration through Crossref, ensuring persistent and reliable article identification;
- Metadata dissemination to indexing and abstracting services;
- Long-term digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) (where applicable);
- Regular server backup and institutional data management by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
If the journal ceases publication for any reason, every effort will be made to ensure that all previously published content remains permanently accessible through appropriate digital preservation services and institutional repositories.
Persistent Identifiers
Every published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered through Crossref. The DOI provides a permanent and persistent link to the published version of the article, ensuring reliable citation and long-term discoverability.
Open Access Preservation
As an Open Access journal, Jurnal Pendidikan Vokasi is committed to maintaining unrestricted access to its published content. All archived articles remain freely available without subscription or access charges.
