Main text

  Introduction

The Introduction should establish a clear and logical foundation for the study by presenting the research background, rationale, significance, and research problem. Authors are expected to critically review relevant and recent literature to demonstrate the current state of knowledge, identify research gaps, and justify the necessity of the study.

The Introduction should clearly explain the novelty and scientific contribution of the research, describe the proposed approach or solution, and conclude with the research objectives and, where appropriate, the research questions or hypotheses. Operational definitions may be included only when necessary to clarify important concepts used in the study.

  Method

The Research Method section should describe the research procedures clearly and systematically to enable readers to understand how the study was conducted and to evaluate its scientific rigor.

Depending on the research design, this section should include:

  • research approach and design;
  • research setting;
  • participants or data sources;
  • sampling techniques;
  • research instruments;
  • data collection procedures;
  • instrument validity and reliability (where applicable);
  • data analysis techniques; and
  • ethical considerations (where applicable).

The methodological procedures should be presented in a logical and chronological order using the past tense and supported by relevant methodological references where appropriate.

  Results and Discussion

The Results and Discussion may be presented either as a single integrated section or as two separate subsections (Results and Discussion), depending on the nature of the study.

The Results should objectively present the research findings based on the analyzed data without repeating methodological procedures. Tables, figures, graphs, charts, and other visual materials should be included only when they improve the clarity of the findings.

The Discussion should critically interpret the findings by relating them to the research objectives, relevant theories, and previous studies. Authors are expected to explain the significance, novelty, theoretical contribution, practical implications, and possible explanations for unexpected findings where appropriate.

The presentation should follow the same sequence as the research objectives or research questions and conclude with a concise synthesis demonstrating how the findings contribute to the advancement of vocational education and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

  Conclusion

The Conclusion should clearly summarize the main findings in relation to the research objectives or research questions. Rather than merely repeating the results, it should emphasize the scientific contribution and significance of the study.

Where appropriate, authors are encouraged to briefly discuss the theoretical implications, practical implications, study limitations, and recommendations for future research. The Conclusion should be presented as a coherent narrative without citations, tables, or figures.
