Open Access Policy

Jurnal Ilmu Manajemen is a fully open-access journal. Every article is freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to from the moment it is published, with no subscription, registration, or payment required of readers or their institutions.

The journal follows the Budapest Open Access Initiative definition of open access and applies no embargo period. There is no delay between publication and free availability, and no version of an article is placed behind a paywall at any stage.

What this means in practice

  • Readers may read, download, and print articles without charge or registration.
  • Users may reuse published articles under the terms of the journal's Creative Commons licence, provided the original work is properly cited.
  • Authors retain copyright in their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
  • Authors may deposit the published version in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and scholarly networks immediately upon publication, with a link to the version of record.
  • Full text is made available in PDF, with complete metadata and a registered DOI for each article.

Costs

Open access is funded by the publisher together with an Article Processing Charge of IDR 500,000 payable by authors after acceptance. Waivers are available; see Author Fees. The journal accepts no advertising and publishes no sponsored content.

Machine access and preservation

Article metadata are openly available through the OAI-PMH interface of the journal's OJS installation and are distributed to Crossref and to the indexing services that harvest the journal. Content is preserved as described in the Archiving Policy, so that articles remain accessible even if the journal ceases to publish.
