Archiving Policy

Jurnal Ilmu Manajemen takes responsibility for the long-term availability of what it publishes. Articles remain accessible even if the journal ceases to publish or the hosting arrangement changes.

System Role
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) Distributed dark archive for OJS journals. Content is deposited automatically and released if the journal becomes unavailable. (confirm the plugin is enabled)
LOCKSS Permits participating libraries to create permanent archives of the journal through the LOCKSS Publisher Manifest.
CLOCKSS Controlled dark archive held across participating research libraries.
Crossref Registers a DOI for every article, so that links remain resolvable even if a URL changes.
UNY institutional servers The publisher maintains the OJS installation with scheduled backups of the database and of all uploaded files.
Garuda and national repositories Metadata and full text are harvested by the national index, giving an additional point of access.
Author self-archiving Authors may deposit the published version in institutional and subject repositories immediately on publication, which adds further redundancy.

Formats and metadata

Articles are published in PDF. Full metadata for every article, including DOI, ORCID iDs where supplied, abstract, keywords, and references, are exposed through the OAI-PMH interface of the journal's OJS installation for harvesting by indexing services.

Operational practice

The OJS database and file store are backed up on a schedule set by the university's IT unit, with copies held off the production server. Editorial records, including submissions, reviews, and decisions, are retained confidentially for at least five years. The editorial team verifies annually that preservation services are running and that deposits are current.

If the journal ceases publication

Should the journal cease to publish, the publisher will keep the archive openly accessible on the existing platform for as long as practicable and will ensure that the preserved content is released through the preservation networks and that DOIs continue to resolve.

Editorial note: confirm which of PKP PN, LOCKSS, and CLOCKSS are actually enabled in this OJS installation, and remove from this page any that are not. DOAJ verifies these claims, and an unsupported one weakens the application.
