Abstract

Abstrak: Materi pembelajaran bahasa Bali sangat kental dengan nilai-nilai budaya Bali yang dijiwai oleh ajaran agama Hindu cukup banyak mengandung nilai-nilai karakter bangsa. Materi pelajaran yang meliputi bidang sastra, linguistik, dan sosiolinguistik, termasuk paribasa Bali, tembang Bali, dan lagu-lagu pop Bali sarat dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter bangsa. Hal itulah yang perlu dipahami, serta digali lebih jauh, akhirnya direvitalisasi dan disampaikan kepada para anak didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, para guru bahasa Bali dapat ikut berperan dalam penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter.

CHARACTER EDUCATION VALUES IN BALINESE LANGUAGE LEARNING
Abstract: Balinese language learning material which is strongly related to Balinese cultural values imbued by the teachings of Hindu religion which has pretty much contains of the nation's cultural values. Subject matter which include in literature, linguistics, and sociolinguistics including Balinese proverb, Balinese song, and Balinese pop songs has educational values of the nation's character. That is what needs to be understood, and explored further, eventually revitalized and presented to the students in the process of learning. Thus, the Balinese language teachers can play a role in the cultivation of the values of character education.
