Evaluasi Kinerja Guru Pendidikan Jasmani Berbasis Kompetensi: Studi Perspektif Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru Pendidikan Jasmani

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan guru Penjas dengan metode Competency Based Performance Evaluation untuk mengetahui kompetensi guru Penjas dalam mengajar. Selama ini pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di tingkat SD, SMP dan SMA diterpa isu miring tentang kualitas pembelajaran yang kurang kompeten dalam mengajar sehingga perlu di analisis untuk mengetahui permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Methods: penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada kepala sekolah yang berjumlah 113 sekolah yang menilai kompetensi guru pendidikan jasmani di sekolah. Observasi dan wawancara digunakan untuk menggali informasi rekan sejawat, siswa dan orang tua siswa sebagai informan untuk mendalami bagaimana persepsi informan terhadap kompetensi guru pendidikan jasmani dalam proses pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan mengacu pada  Competency Based Performance Evaluation yang dikembangkan sesuai indikator penelitian. Results: hasil rata-rata jawaban kepala sekolah memberikan keterangan kompetensi guru bagus sesuai kategori kompetensi, keterampilan kepemimpinan menjadi yang tertinggi dengan kategori Baik 76.1%. kemampuan interpersonal kategori baik 73.5%, kategori pemecahan masalah 60.2%. sedangkan kemampuan keterampilan teknis kategori sedang dengan 68.1%. sementara temuan data kualitatif di lapangan dari hasil analisis dan informan memberikan temuan 14 sekolah yang mengajar pembelajaran penjas tidak sesuai kualifikasi Pendidikan jasmani. Conclusions: Maka ditarik kesimpulan tidak sesuainya kompetensi guru pendidikan jasmani yang mengajar adalah sebagian guru yang tidak relevan dengan kompetensi latar belakang guru pendidikan jasmani dan faktor profesionalitas guru itu sendiri. Temuan ini menjadi masalah serius karena guru tidak sesuai kompetensi sarjana pendidikan jasmani dapat menimbulkan malpraktek pembelajaran sehingga kualitas dari pembelajaran Pendidikan jasmani menurun.

Abstract:

The study aims to evaluate the ability of Penjas teachers with the Competency Based Performance Evaluation method to determine the competence of Penjas teachers in teaching. So far, physical education learning at the elementary, junior high and high school levels has been hit by skewed issues about the quality of learning that is not competent in teaching so that it needs to be analyzed to find out the problems that occur in the field. Methods: the research used a quantitative descriptive approach and a qualitative approach, the research data collection used questionnaires distributed to school principals totaling 113 schools that assessed the competence of physical education teachers in schools. Observations and interviews were used to dig up information from peers, students and parents of students as informants to explore how the informants perceive the competence of physical education teachers in the learning process. The instrument used refers to Competency Based Performance Evaluation which was developed according to research indicators. Results: the average results of the principal's answers provided information on the competence of teachers according to the competency category, leadership skills being the highest with the Good category of 76.1%. Interpersonal skills in the good category 73.5%, problem-solving category 60.2%. while the technical skill ability of the medium category with 68.1%. Meanwhile, the findings of qualitative data in the field from the results of analysis and informants provided the findings of 14 schools that teach penjas learning that are not in accordance with physical education qualifications. Conclusions: Therefore, it is concluded that the competence of physical education teachers who teach is not relevant to the competence of the physical education teacher's background and the professional factor of the teacher himself. This finding is a serious problem because teachers who are not in accordance with the competence of physical education scholars can cause learning malpractices so that the quality of physical education learning decreases.
