Manuscripts submitted to Ethnomathematics Journal must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts derived from conference, seminar, symposium, or workshop presentations may be considered for publication provided that this information is clearly disclosed during submission and the manuscript has been substantially revised.

All submissions must be free from plagiarism and self-plagiarism.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright of their published work.

By submitting and publishing in Ethnomathematics Journal, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and authorize the distribution of their work under the
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Authors are required to submit a signed License to Publish Agreement as a supplementary file during submission. This agreement grants publication rights to the journal while allowing authors to retain copyright.

Author Rights

Authors are permitted to:

  • Share their published articles on personal websites, institutional repositories, and academic networks;
  • Use the article in teaching, presentations, and future works;
  • Distribute the published version of record with proper citation to the journal.
