Integrating Publuu Technology into Interactive Teaching Materials as a Strengthening of Evaluation Material Learning in the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG)

Abstract


Learning in the 21st-century digital era demands the use of innovative interactive media to support the effectiveness of education, including in the evaluation of learning outcomes. One of the challenges faced is the low student engagement in the learning process due to the tendency towards conventional evaluation methods. Technology like Publuu offers great potential to address this issue by providing interactive digital learning materials. This research aims to develop interactive learning materials based on Publuu for the learning evaluation course in the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program and to test their effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Data were collected through pretests and posttests on two groups, namely the experimental group using the Publuu teaching materials and the control group using conventional methods. Normality and homogeneity tests are conducted to ensure the data meets statistical requirements, followed by a paired sample t-test. The research results show that the Publuu teaching materials effectively improve student learning outcomes, with the t-test results indicating a significance value (Sig.) < 0.05. This teaching material also enhances students' motivation and engagement in learning. In conclusion, interactive learning materials based on Publuu are suitable for implementation in the PPG program to improve the quality of evaluation learning. Further development can be carried out by adding interactive features to enhance the appeal of the teaching materials.
