Task performance is an important component of higher education implementation and has an impact on improving education quality. This study measures and analyses the relationship between transformational leadership, compensation, organizational commitment, and task performance. This research employed a mixed-methods approach, incorporating a causal model. We collected the primary data through a survey. We tested predictions using stratified random samples, which included 250 permanent lecturers. We processed the data using statistical analysis techniques and the Smart PLS structural equation model. The results showed that 1) transformational leadership and compensation have a direct positive influence on task performance up to 49%; 2) transformational leadership and compensation have a direct positive influence on organizational commitment up to 21%; and 3) produce a management model for improving lecturers' task performance. to achieve organizational goals by improving lecturers' task performance by taking into account the factors of transformational leadership, compensation, and organizational commitment.
