KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS DALAM PEMBELAJARAN STATISTIKA ELEMENTER MELALUI PROBLEM BASED-LEARNING

Abstract


Abstrak: Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika dalam Pembelajaran Statistika Elementer melalui Problem Based-Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi apakah kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang diajar dengan model problem-based learning lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang diajar secara konvensional. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian semu yang menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar pada Statistik Elementer. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang diajar dengan model problem-based learning tidak lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang diajar secara konvensional. Kata Kunci: komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, statistik elementer Abstract: The Ability in Mathematic Communication of the Students IN Elementary Statistics Teaching through Problem-Based Learning. This study was aimed to investigate whether the ability in mathematic communication of the students who were taught using the problem-based learning model was better than that of those taught conventionally. This study was categorized quasi experiment using the pretest-posttest control group design. The data were collected through an achievement test on Elementary Statistics. The findings showed that the ability in mathematic communication of the students who were taught using the problembased learning model was not better than that of those taught conventionally.
