USING THE SEVEN-JUMP TECHNIQUE TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' LEARNING AUTONOMY
Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the effect of the use of the seven-jump learning technique on students' learning autonomy in the Geography Instructional Planning course. This study was an explanation research applying the causal associative correlation. The subjects were 60 students at the Geography study program taking the Geography Instructional Planning class in 2012. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using bivariate statistics.The main finding was that there was a significant relationship between the seven-jump technique and students' learning autonomy with an observed ï² of 0.511 at the significance level of (p) = 0.000 < α = 0,05.
