Abstract

Teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) faces challenges in engaging students with grammar instruction. This study aims to develop an Educaply Games-based grammar assessment for tenth-grade students at SMAN 5 Taruna Brawijaya. Using the Research and Development (RND) method by Borg and Gall (1983), the assessment's validity, reliability, item difficulty, and item discrimination were evaluated. Results showed high validity, strong reliability (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.84), and balanced difficulty and discrimination indices. The findings suggest that using Educaply Games enhances students' grammar skills and engagement, offering an effective solution for improving EFL grammar teaching. This study highlights the benefits of integrating technology in education to support student success.
