Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengestimasi ukuran efek penerapan model pembelajaran Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa serta mengidentifikasi faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitasnya. Penelitian menggunakan metode meta-analisis terhadap 14 studi primer yang dipublikasikan pada 2017–2026. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa model STAD memberikan pengaruh positif yang sangat besar dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan nilai rata-rata ukuran efek Hedges’ g sebesar 1,568. Uji heterogenitas menunjukkan variasi antar studi yang tinggi, sehingga digunakan random-effects model. Analisis moderator menunjukkan bahwa jenjang pendidikan, ukuran sampel, dan wilayah penelitian tidak memberikan perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan. Hasil tersebut perlu diinterpretasikan secara hati-hati karena tingginya heterogenitas menunjukkan perbedaan karakteristik antarstudi yang dapat memengaruhi ukuran efek. Analisis bias publikasi menggunakan Trim and Fill dan Fail-Safe N tidak menunjukkan indikasi kuat bias publikasi, meskipun perlu ditafsirkan secara hati-hati. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada meta-analisis model STAD terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa di Indonesia dengan mempertimbangkan ketiga moderator tersebut.
