Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving Berbasis Structured Problem untuk Mengembangkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Peserta Didik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) dengan penggunaan well-structured problem dan ill-structured problem terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian dilakukan dengan nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif, diperoleh rata-rata nilai posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik yang menerapkan TAPPS berbasis structured problem adalah 53,25 dan yang menerapkan model ekspositori adalah 29,17. Adapun hasil analisis inferensial dengan melakukan uij independent sample t-test pada posttest diperoleh nilai dan dengan , maka ditolak, artinya model TAPPS berbasis structured problem lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Hasil perhitungan efisiensi relatif diperoleh , secara relatif kelompok eksperimen lebih efisien daripada kelompok kontrol. Jadi, model TAPPS berbasis structured problem efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik.
