First issue

In 2005, JPK had already published scholarly articles, with Volume 1 Number 2, November 2005.

Regular publication

In 2016–2017, JPK continued to publish articles regularly.

Electronic publication

In 2017–2019, JPK developed its electronic publication, supported by the print ISSN 1858-0998 and the electronic ISSN 2580-6475. Online journal management widened access to the scholarly articles it published.

Broader topics

In 2020–2025, JPK kept developing its publication across diverse topics, including learning for children with special needs, inclusive education, teacher competence, instructional technology, assessment, and special education services.

Volume 22

In 2026, JPK reached Volume 22 Number 1. The journal publishes articles twice a year, in May and November, using DOIs with the prefix 10.21831.
