Natural and Social Sciences (NSS) learning in elementary schools still faces various challenges, resulting in learning conditions that are less contextual and enjoyable. This study aims to develop an e-module integrated with West Kalimantan’s local wisdom to enhance joyful learning in NSS learning for elementary school students. This study employed the Research & Development (R&D) method using the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) model. Feasibility was assessed through content validity. Student responses were analyzed using percentages. The effectiveness of the e-module was analyzed using a one-group pretest-posttest design and the normalized gain (n-gain) test. The study results showed that the e-module achieved a validity coefficient of 1.00 in the aspects of content, media, and language, indicating that all criteria are considered relevant. Student response results from the one-to-one trial achieved a percentage of 83.75%, and the small group trial achieved a percentage of 84%, both falling into the “very practical” category. The results of the effectiveness trial showed an enhancement in students’ joyful learning with an n-gain value of 0.67 in the moderate category. Thus, the developed e-module is deemed valid, practical, and effective for enhancing joyful learning in NSS at elementary schools. This study contributes an alternative learning resource that integrates West Kalimantan’s local wisdom and supports teachers in implementing contextual and joyful learning in NSS at elementary school.
