All articles are free to read, download, and share immediately on publication, without subscription or registration. Readers may copy and redistribute the work for non-commercial purposes, with credit to the authors and the journal.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) licence. Users may share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, giving appropriate credit and distributing derivatives under the same licence.

Authors retain copyright to their work until publication. Once the manuscript is accepted, authors assign copyright, together with publishing and distribution rights, to Jurnal Kependidikan: Penelitian Inovasi Pembelajaran by signing the Copyright Transfer Agreement. The journal then makes the article available to everyone under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence, so the transfer never limits readers' rights to read, download, share, or adapt the work.

The journal is published and funded by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta through its Directorate of Research and Community Service, with income from article publishing costs.

Sponsors and the publisher have no role in editorial decisions.
