Author Guidelines

JURNAL ECONOMIA FE UNY Manuscript Requirements (download template)

General Guidelines:

  1. The paper needs to be one of the followings; research paper, literatur review, conceptual paper, or view points in economis and its related subjects.
  2. The paper has not been published previously and it is not under consideration for publication in other journal or any kind of publication.
  3. JURNAL ECONOMIA FE UNY accepts paper submitted in softcopy and Microsoft Word format.
  4. It is within the rights of Editor to make any change in the submitted paper for proof reading purpose, without changing the paper’s content.

Manuscript Assessment:

All manuscripts will be reviewed based on following criteria:

  1. Title of the paper (It needs to be concise)
  2. Abstract (It needs to properly describe the paper, and it should not be more than 150 words)
  3. Appropriate keywords
  4. Appropriate objectives
  5. Adequate theoretical basis
  6. Proper explanation of research method
  7. Concise and clear identification of problems
  8. Proper explanation of findings and results
  9. Concise and valuable conclusion
  10. The paper’s contribution for scholars and practitioners in economics and its related subjects.
  11. The content of paper needs to be constructed based on the writing system guidelines
  12. Adequate and proper grammar
  13. Using recent journals and publication as references (The reference needs to consist of journals or research papers by 50 percent at minimum, and also 50 percent of the references were published within the last ten years).
  14. Reference list needs to be written based of the provided reference guidelines.
  15. The number of pages in paper needs to fall within our criteria.

 

The structure of paper:

1. For research paper:

Title

The title should be concise.

Author’s name

Author’s name should not be disclosed without title. Author also needs to disclose his/her institution, country of origin, and email address (The main author is the only one whose email address needs to be disclosed when the paper is written by a team).

Abstract

Abstract of paper needs to be written in both Indonesian and English. It consists research purposes, research methods, and its result or finding. Abstract is required to be concise, thorough, and it should not be more than 150 words.

Keywords

Keywords consist of some words which represent topic described in the paper. It should not be more than 5 words or concept.

Introduction

Introduction describes research background, research question and purpose, and also described some preliminary researches which are related to research question.

Method

This section describes research planning and design. This section should describe the type of research, research’s subject and object, research instrument, and data analysis method.

Finding and Discussion

This section explains instrument testing, hypothesis testing (if any), research findings, data analysis and its interpretation.  

Conclusion

This section presents conclusion of paper, based on results and analysis described in previous section. This section can also present research implication, limitation, and recommendation.

References

This section lists all references which are used and cited in the paper.


2. For Literatur Review, Conceptual Paper, or View Points paper:

Title

The title should be concise and should not consist more than 12 words.

Author’s name

Author’s name should not be disclosed without title. Author also needs to disclose his/her institution, country of origin, and email address (The main author is the only one whose email address needs to be disclosed when the paper is written by a team).

Abstract

Abstract of paper needs to be written in both Indonesian and English. It is a summary of the paper which represent an overview of the problems discussed in paper. Abstract is required to be concise and it should not be more than 150 words. (maksimal 150 kata).

Keywords

Keywords consist of some words which represent topic described in the paper. It should not be more than 5 words or concept.

Introduction

Introduction describes main problem and question analysed in the paper, their background, and also purpose of the paper.

Analysis and Discussion

This section discusses problem and main question of the paper. This section can consist of an analysis or argumentation of the issue discussed in the paper. Author can add more sub-section as necessary.

Conclusion

Author provides a conclusion about the issue discussed in paper, including recommendation or alternative opinion (if any).

References

This section lists all references which are used and cited in the paper.

 

Writing Guidelines:

  1. The manuscript needs to be written in English or Indonesia.
  2. The manuscript needs to be delivered in soft copy.
  3. Editor will not return the rejected manuscript.
  4. The manuscript should be within 10 to 20 pages, typed on A4 paper with 1.5 space, and use Times New Roman font size 12.
  5. Top, side, and bottom margin is 1 inch each.
  6. Each table and picture needs to be accompanied by a series of number to identify each of them.  A title which explain content of table and picture and source (if any) also needs to be attached along with the respective picture and table. Source of table or picture is attached below the table or picture. Title of table is attached above the table, while title of picture is attached below the picture.
  7. Each page needs to be completed with page number, including tables, attachments, and reference list.
  8. A reference is cited in-text by writing the referenced author’s surname, year of publication and page number if necessary.

For example:

  • If the citation comes from one reference: (Kuncoro, 2009), (Kuncoro, 2009: 131), (Ebel & Frisbie, 1991: 86), (Case, et.al., 2012) atau (Sugiyono, dkk., 2006)
  • If the citation comes from several references with different authors: (Cohen, 2009: 163; Nunnally & Bernstein, 1994: 252)

Reference list needs to be written in an alphabetic order, based on author’s surname (without any academic title), for example:

PEDOMAN PENULISAN ARTIKEL (download template)

DI JURNAL ECONOMIA FE UNY

Ketentuan Umum:

  1. Artikel berupa hasil pemikiran, analisis ilmiah, kajian teori, atau hasil penelitian dalam bidang ekonomi.
  2. Artikel yang dikirim ke jurnal tidak sedang dikirimkan ke jurnal/terbitan lain dan belum dipublikasikan dalam jurnal/terbitan lain.
  3. Artikel dikirim dalam bentuk softcopy dengan format Microsoft Word.
  4. Redaksi berhak mengedit tata bahasa dan ejaan naskah yang dimuat tanpa mengurangi atau mengubah maksud tulisan.

Penilaian Naskah:

Penilaian naskah mempertimbangkan hal sebagai berikut:

  1. Penulisan judul artikel (tepat, singkat dan jelas)
  2. Penulisan abstrak (harus menggambarkan isi artikel, ditulis dalam 1 alinea, dan tidak melebihi 150 kata)
  3. Pemilihan kata kunci
  4. Kejelasan tujuan penulisan/penelitian
  5. Kecukupan teori yang mendasari
  6. Kejelasan dan ketepatan metodologi
  7. Kejelasan pengkajian permasalahan
  8. Kejelasan dan konsistensi pembahasan hasil temuan/kajian
  9. Ketepatan kesimpulan
  10. Kontribusi naskah dalam pengembangan keilmuan
  11. Sistematika penulisan
  12. Kejelasan dan ketepatan tata bahasa yang digunakan
  13. Kecukupan dan kemutakhiran sumber referensi (minimal 50% dari jurnal/hasil penelitian, 50% terbitan 10 tahun terakhir)
  14. Kesesuaian penulisan daftar pustaka dengan panduan
  15. Kesesuaian jumlah halaman

 

Ketentuan Sistematika Penulisan:

1. Artikel berupa hasil penelitian:

Judul

Ditulis singkat dan padat

Nama Penulis

Nama penulis ditulis tanpa gelar, asal lembaga, negara, dan alamat email. (Khusus untuk artikel yang ditulis tim, hanya dicantumkan alamat email penulis utama).

Abstrak

Abstrak ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia. Abstrak memuat uraian mengenai tujuan penelitian, metode yang digunakan, dan hasil penelitian. Abstrak ditulis secara ringkas, padat dan ditulis dalam satu alinea (maksimal 150 kata).

Kata Kunci

Kata kunci berisi ide-ide atau konsep dasar yang mewakili bidang yang diteliti. Kata kunci maksimal 5 ideatau konsep.

Pendahuluan

Bagian ini berisi tentang latar belakang penelitian, permasalahan penelitian atau tujuan penelitian, dan rangkuman kajian teori yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang diteliti.

Metode

Bagian ini memuat rancangan atau desain penelitian yang dilakukan. Pada bagian ini paling tidak memuat tentang jenis penelitian, subjek/objek penelitian, teknik/instrumen pengumpulan data dan analisis data.

Hasil dan Pembahasan

Bagian ini memuat hasil analisis data, pengujian instrumen dan hipotesis (jika ada), jawaban pertanyaan penelitian, temuan-temuan dan interpretasi temuan-temuan.

Simpulan

Menyajikan simpulan hasil penelitian dan jika diperlukan dapat ditambahkan implikasi, keterbatasan dan saran

Daftar Pustaka

Memuat sumber-sumber yang diacu di dalam penulisan artikel, hanya sumber-sumber yang digunakan yang dimuat dalam daftar pustaka.

2. Artikel berupa hasil pemikiran, analisis ilmiah, dan kajian teori:

Judul

Ditulis singkat dan padat (maksimal 12 kata).

Nama Penulis

Nama penulis ditulis tanpa gelar, asal lembaga, negara, dan alamat email. (Khusus untuk artikel yang ditulis tim, hanya dicantumkan alamat email penulis utama).

Abstrak

Abstrak ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia. Abstrak memuat ringkasan artikel yang mencerminkan gambaran umum masalah yang dibahas dalam artikel dan hal-hal yang sedang dikritisi dan ditulis dalam satu alinea (maksimal 150 kata).

Kata Kunci

Kata kunci berisi ide-ide atau konsep dasar yang mewakili bidang yang ditulis. Kata kunci maksimal 5 ide atau konsep.

Pendahuluan

Menguraikan pentingnya permasalahan yang dibahas beserta latar belakangnya, mengemukakan permasalahan yang dibahas dan tujuan pembahasan.

Pembahasan

Bagian ini berisi kajian terhadap permasalahan yang sedang dibahas. Isinya dapat meliputi analisis, argumentasi teoretik mengenai permasalahan yang dibahas. Subbab yang ditulis dapat menyesuaikan dengan permasalahan yang sedang dibahas.

Simpulan

Berisi simpulan penulis terhadap masalah yang dibahas, termasuk saran-saran atau sikap alternatif jika ada.

Daftar Pustaka

Memuat sumber-sumber yang diacu di dalam penulisan artikel, hanya sumber-sumber yang digunakan yang dimuat dalam daftar pustaka.

 

Ketentuan Format Penulisan:

  1. Artikel dapat disajikan dalam bahasa Inggris atau bahasa Indonesia.
  2. Artikel dikirim sebanyak satu eksemplar disertai soft copy.
  3. Artikel yang tidak dimuat tidak dikembalikan.
  4. Panjang tulisan antara 10 – 20 halaman dan ditulis dalam kertas ukuran A4 dengan spasi 1,5.
  5. Jenis huruf yang digunakan: Times New Roman ukuran 12
  6. Margin atas, bawah dan samping 1 inci.
  7. Setiap tabel atau gambar diberi nomor urut, judul, yang sesuai dengan isi tabel dan gambar, dan sumber kutipan (jika ada). Sumber kutipan ditulis di bawah gambar atau tabel. Judul tabel ditulis di atas tabel dan judul gambar ditulis di bawah gambar.
  8. Semua halaman termasuk tabel, lampiran dan daftar pustaka diberi nomor urut halaman.
  9. Sumber kutipan dalam teks ditulis di antara kurung buka dan kurung tutup yang menyebutkan nama akhir penulis, tahun, dan nomor halaman jika dipandang perlu.

Contoh:

  • Apabila kutipan berasal dari satu sumber: (Kuncoro, 2009), (Kuncoro, 2009: 131), (Ebel & Frisbie, 1991: 86), (Case, et.al., 2012) atau (Sugiyono, dkk., 2006)
  • Apabila kutipan berasal dari dua sumber dengan penulis yang berbeda: (Cohen, 2009: 163; Nunnally & Bernstein, 1994: 252)

Daftar pustaka ditulis alphabetis sesuai dengan nama akhir (tanpa gelar akademik), baik penulis asing maupun penulis Indonesia dengan contoh sebagai berikut:
