Roselle-based Home Industry Products have significant economic potential; however, their development is often constrained by limited product legality, particularly the acquisition of Home Industry Food Production Certification (PIRT). This community service activity aimed to identify respondent characteristics, the initial level of knowledge regarding PIRT, barriers to starting a business, community support needs, and to measure participants’ capacity levels related to PIRT knowledge, herbal production, and food security. The method used was a quantitative descriptive survey involving 26 PKK women from Keceme Hamlet using structured questionnaires. The results showed that the majority of participants were of productive age (36–45 years) and had a senior high school/equivalent educational background (61.5%). Most respondents had heard of the term PIRT but did not yet understand it in depth (65.4%). The level of knowledge was predominantly categorized as low (65%). The main barriers identified were limited capital (96.2%) and lack of understanding of licensing procedures (61.5%). Most respondents required comprehensive support in the form of training, licensing assistance, financial support, and market access. Capacity assessment results indicated that most participants were in the moderate category (62%). These findings highlight the need for integrated assistance to enhance business capacity and product legality for roselle herbal products
