Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) broadly aims to provide insight, education and skills in the culinary field to improve the economy, especially in the Sendangsari community, Pengasih Kulon Progo District. The knowledge and skills provided to the community include: 1) Knowledge of processing various types of Indonesian snacks, 2) Skills in making and packaging various types of snack products properly, 3) Knowing various types of packaging and labels used, 4) Skills related to calculating the selling price of products. The PkM activity was held for two days from March 19-20, 2024, at the Pastry Laboratory of the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Yogyakarta State University. The target of PkM participants is the Sendangsari community, Pengasih Kulon Progo District. The methods used were lectures, discussions and questions and answers, and practice. The results of the PkM activities were analyzed using descriptive techniques with presentation values. The results of PkM activities include participants being able to: 1) Have knowledge in processing various snacks, 2) Skilled in making and packaging various types of snack and beverage products properly, 3) Have knowledge of the types of packaging and labels used, 4) Skilled in calculating the selling price of products.
