Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Praktik Kelistrikan Trainer Sistem Pengapian Elektronika di Bengkal Otomotif SMK Piri 1 yogyakarta

Abstract

The quality of practical learning plays an important role in producing graduates who meet the competencies of the world of work. In addition to the ability of teachers, the existence of practical facilities and the management of workshop facilities are also the main supporting factors. This service program aims to update electrical learning media through the development of Electronic Ignition System trainers, test trainer functions, train trainer operation for electrical practice teachers, and determine user responses to the products developed. The program targets productive teachers teaching Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering (TKRO) at SMK Piri 1 Sleman. The implementation of the service was carried out through a product development method accompanied by training in the use of trainers. Based on the activities that have been carried out on September 5, 2024, the results obtained that the Electronic Ignition System trainer has been successfully assembled and can be used for learning simulations. The response from the teachers showed good acceptance of the use of the trainer in supporting the practice of light vehicle electrical maintenance. In addition, the trainer operational training runs smoothly and effectively, so it is expected to improve the quality of electrical practice in the automotive workshop of SMK Piri 1 Yogyakarta.
