Widyakara Journal ensures that its published content remains permanently available, even if the journal stops publishing.

1. Digital Preservation

• LOCKSS: the journal is enabled for LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) through Open Journal Systems, allowing participating libraries to collect and preserve copies of its content.
• PKP Preservation Network: the journal will be deposited in the PKP PN once the plugin is enabled on the university's OJS platform.

2. Persistent Identifiers

Every article receives a DOI registered with Crossref, which resolves to the current location of the article even if the journal moves.

3. Hosting and Continuity

The journal is hosted on the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta OJS platform, maintained and backed up by the university. If the journal ceases publication, the publisher will keep the archive online or transfer it to a preservation service.

4. Self-Archiving by Authors

Authors may deposit any version of their article in institutional or subject repositories (Open Access Policy).
