Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.


Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit article must send it via system and it is free of charge. Here are the Manuscript Writing Guidelines:

  1. The manuscript must be a research result or a scientific study of actual problems in education which has never been published.
  2. The maximum length of the manuscript is 5,000 words or 10-15 pages, A-4 single space, Font: Garamond 12 in 2 columns, except the abstract 1 column.
  3. The title of the manuscript should be clear and informative, containing not more than 12 words, and containing keywords.
  4. The name(s) of the author(s) should be written below the title without degree, but with affiliation(s) and email(s).
  5. The abstract (in Indonesian and English) is written narratively containing the aim, method and the result of the study, not more than 150 words.
  6. The manuscript is written in standard Indonesian, containing: (1) Title, (2) Abstract, (3) Introduction, (4) Research Methods, (5) Findings and Discussions, (6) Conclusion, (7) Reference, and (8) Author(s) Biodata.
  7. All submitted manuscripts have to be written by referring to APA style, following this TEMPLATE [DOWNLOAD]
  8. All manuscripts are submitted through online journal system. If you already have an acount, you may log in first. If you don't, please REGISTER to the system.
  9. Unpublished manuscripts will be returned and the author will be informed via e-mail in the form of notification.
  10. Article accepted for publication will be charged Rp 950,000,- for article processing cost (APC). The pdf of each article will be published as soon as the author(s) pay the APC. The author(s) will be given two copies of fully printed journal from the editorial board.
  11. Examples of referencing are as follow:
  • Mehrens & Lehmann (1986) stated “Tes essay mudah dibuat, tetapi lebih sulit dinilai secara akurat…”
  • “Essay tests are relatively easy to prepare but more difficult to grade accurately (reliably) since they are graded by humans (who may be subjective) rather than by impersonal machines” (Mehrens & Lehmann, 1986, p.75).
  • As stated by Mehrens & Lehmann (1986, p.75), “Essay tests are relatively easy to prepare but more difficult to grade accurately (reliably) since they are graded by humans (who may be subjective) rather than by impersonal machines”.

12. Images, graphs, and tables are presented in the following arrangement:

  • Image photographs must be sharp enough to be printed on glossy paper.
  • Image, graph, and table size should meet the journal page set up.
  • Images and graphs are adjustable to be printed on white paper and black ink.
  • All of these should be numbered and referred in the text.

Biodata is written in the form of a narration, consisting of the full name, degree, place and date of birth, latest education, affiliation and telephone number/cellular, and e-mail.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscript has not been previously published, and not becomes other journal's consideration for publication (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  3. All submitted manuscripts have to be written by referring to APA style, and already used the TEMPLATE.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
